There is a very ignorant statement, that I hear on a daily basis - the "Black girls don't have long hair"- this is one of the most stupidest things I have ever heard, and I don't understand why everybody slanders black girls and the "length" of their hair. We come in ALL textures & lengths, and the stereotype that people have of black women needs to stop! Instead of saying black girls don't have long hair, say black girls have GREAT hair! Is it short or is it shrinkage? #ifyouknowyouknow	4 Different Styles, 1 hair type Here in these 4 images are examples of the diversity that Afro textured hair has. The first picture shows twists, the second is a "blow out"- as you can see the difference between the two is very apparent, the twists display resting just past the shoulders, whereas, the fro is flowing downwards all that hair from simple skinny twists? The ignorant people would say "that's not all her hair" or "what weave is that?" no weave, just the beauty of having afro hair-there's so much you can do with it!
Shrinkage As a natural black woman, you will be familiar with shrinkage! It has its pros & cons, but one of the pros is that you can wear your hair big, long and fierce one day, and cute & compact the next! And no one will be able to guess your hair length, and you have the pleasure of shocking everyone -especially the mind of the ignorant! Black Girls Rock! Shrinkage Rocks!
